Greendeck 101
Here are some terms you will come across often in Greendeck: Apps: The Greendeck platform is divided into two Apps - Retail Intelligence and Marketing. Each App has different views depending on what you're looking for. More details in the upcoming sections! Filters: Filters allow you to drill down to any specific information you are looking for. Regular Price: The listed price on the retailer's website.
Offer Price: The price after discount/markdown.
Basket Price: Basket price is the final price to be paid by the customer.
Basket Price = Offer Price + Shipping + Taxes and duties. Price Index: Price Index is a way to help you answer the question - "When I am cheaper/more expensive than my competitors, by how much am I cheaper/more expensive". We scale the price of your products to 100, and compare what the corresponding prices of competitors is. e.g. For Gucci shoes, if the price index is 110, this means if I am selling Gucci shoes for £100, my competitors are selling the same Gucci shoes for £110. Similarly, for Balenciaga handbags, if the price index is 82, this means if I am selling Balenciaga handbags for £100, my competitors are selling the same handbags for £82.
Categories: All your products have been categorised as per the taxonomy on your website. Also, all your competitor's products have been mapped to your own taxonomy. e.g. if your website says 'Trousers' and your competitor says 'Pants', we will categorise all these products as Trousers.
Delivery Duty: Costs associated with retailer until the buyer receives the product. This cost includes import duties paid, including inland transportation from the import point to the customer. Lowest/Highest priced competitor: The retailer that is selling a matching product at the lowest/highest price. First seen: The date when a product was published for the first time on the retailer's website. Last seen: The date went a product went out of stock or was discontinued on the website. SKU: The stock-keeping unit of the product.
